Historic flooding Grand Rapids Michigan

So on Sunday, I went to Grand Rapids for free museum day, and while I was down there I had the opportunity to take a few flooding photos and also was able to make a video. Thankfully we didn't receive a lot more rain or the flood damage would have been much worse.

My dad has passed on to heaven

It's been a very rough week. The future is uncertain, but one thing will be for certain. I will continue storm chasing and photography. When I was a kid dad would stand outside our place in Ravenna Michigan, and watch storms roll in and I would go out and join him. And in his final years we still got to see a storm or two. This chasing season I dedicate to my dad.

Fall Colors

Well I promised some fall color photos, I am still not done as I am awaiting for the shot that I really want to get. And I might add a few more photo's from this year yet. Now I am getting into hunting season, so I may or may not be able to get some photo's of deer. After that it's winter and I plan on winter photo's as well as a video of winter, and possibly a blizzard. And finally I am adding more archived weather photo's. Thanks for viewing my page. I enjoy doing this for you and myself.

Been a pretty boring summer

Well not much has happened this summer in terms of storms. Been a mostly hot and dry summer. Disappointment. But fall colors are coming soon. I look forward to bring you some nice scenes. Then I have a feeling winter is gonna start slow then go crazy January or February. So I will be out getting some winter stuff as well.

I will be updating the website from time to time, with thoughts, videos and photos of any chase that I go on or nature pictures. This is from back in 2010, a huge early fall windstorm hit the Great Lakes. This was featured on WZZM must see videos. I was sandblasted to say the least LOL. Winds were easily steady over 40 with gusts estimated 60+mph
